Rajnikanth’s Robot / Endhiran rocks Box Office: The much awaited film of the year “Robot” was worth the hype. It has been well received by critics and reviewers.
The film stars Rajnikanth and former Miss World and Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “Robot” is the Hindi adaptation of “Endhiran”.
The film had a grand opening at the box office. The advanced booking of the film opened last Saturday and within an hour all tickets were sold out. Diehard fans of Rajnikanth were found standing in queues outside cinema halls to get their tickets.
Rajni’s fans performed pujas, chanted his names, burst crackers and poured milk oblations following the release of the film.
State Chief Minister M Karunanidhi watched the special screening of “Robot” at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai along with Rajnikanth and the film’s director Shankar
