7 June 2007 (Sawf News) - Ever since their wedding on 20, 2007 which awed Bollywood watcher the world over, the couple have been on a dream honeymoon that periodically merges with reality but doesn't seem to end!
The honeymoon started in French Polynesia and continued in Europe. It briefly merged with reality when Aishwarya walked the red carpet with Abhishek at Cannes as brand ambassador for L'Oreal but resumed when the couple continued their sojourn in Europe.
They returned to Bombay late in May to enable Aishwarya to complete the filming of Gowatrikar's Jodha Akbar.
They, along with Amitabh Bachchan, are currently attending the International Film Festival in Yorkshire between June 7–10.
Enroute to Yorkshire the three stopped to watch the French Open Tennis tournament on Tuesday (05 Jun 2007) because Aishwarya is the brand ambassador for Longines who are the official time keeper of Roland Garros 2007.
Jaya Bachchan reportedly stayed back at Bombay to attend to her critically ill mother in law Teji Bachchan.
At the IIFA, Aishwarya is among the nominees for the best actor (female) for her role in Dhoom 2.
If she wins the award it would make the current year truly memorable for her, adding to the joy of her wedding and the release of Jodha Akabar in October.
Unlike their screen romances which never lasted over 3 hours, the real life romance of Aishwarya and Abhishek could provide their fans a lifetime of joy.
