While Aishwarya Rai was private and secretive during her pregnancy, fellow Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is reveling in her new role as a mommy-to-be.
Aishwarya let her husband's family control everything, from announcing her pregnancy to deciding which hospital she would give birth at and what her baby would be named. Part of this of course is due to Aishwarya's own traditional nature but to the public at least she seemed very much a passenger on her trip towards motherhood.
Not so with Shilpa Shetty. Shilpa is anything but traditional. She appeared on the UK's Celebrity Big Brother, performs racy item numbers (check out the video below!), opens nightclubs and is generally a modern Indian woman who does whatever she wants. So it's no surprise that when it came to announcing her pregnancy Shilpa took control and did it herself.
